Class Video: Natural Dyes in the Kitchen with Nicci

This session is an introduction to how to use food waste and store cupboard spices to experiment with natural dyes on the kitchen hob.

Beginning with setting up the bath, Nicci will shoe you how to dye fabric at home and can inject some colour into old clothes, or turn dreary fabric scraps/bedsheets into fabric for a new project! This workshop gives a taster of some traditional ‘shibori’ (Japanese style tie dye) techniques.
